Excavation & Sub-Base

Next, we dig out the patio area to a depth of 200mm, preparing it for the installation of the sub-base.

Sub-Base Installation

We lay a compacted sub-base with a depth of 150mm, creating a stable foundation for your patio.

Mortar Bed Preparation

A 50mm-deep concrete mix mortar bed is meticulously laid, providing a smooth and level surface for your selected paving slabs.

Paving Slab Installation

The carefully measured paving slabs are placed onto the mortar bed, ensuring the desired joint spacing between them and a level finish to the fall.

Curing Period

We allow the patio to be set for a minimum of 24 hours, allowing the concrete mix (mortar bed) to cure effectively.

Joint Filling

The joints between the paving slabs are filled with pointing, completing the installation process for your beautiful patio.
